How it Started:
Adyar, a lively city in Chennai, is the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. From age-old temples and colonial landmarks to its distinct seaside charm and green cover, the city has it all. Federal Bank's Adyar branch has taken the lead to capture the soul of Adyar by having a mural painted across its walls that portrays the folklore of the city.
Going Beyond Art:
What makes Federal Bank's Adyar campaign more special is that it goes beyond just painting a mural. The bank has reached out to 75+ small businesses in the city as well as 340+ shops to install mobile points of sale (POS), making trade easier for people.
Fedral Bank has also planned to arrange an exhibition of murals in its Adyar branch. This will not only promote local art but will also increase footfall to the branch. The bank also plans to take the drive to another level by recognising notable people from the city, also known as Adyarites. Known as the Humans Of Adyar exhibition, it will showcase the stories of the people of Adyar and further bring the people of the city together.
