Quarterly Spend-Based Eligibility: Complimentary lounge access will be available only to primary Card Holders who meet the minimum spend requirement as stated hereunder during the immediately preceding calendar quarter. The applicable spend requirement and access period are outlined below:

Process of charge deduction/reversal while accessing international and domestic airport lounge and Lounge Key App:

Credit Cards: While swiping Credit Card at domestic lounges, an authorization for an amount (Rs.2/-) will be taken on the card for validation purposes only and it will be non-refundable amount, whereas in case of international lounge access customers will be charged as per lounge charges and the same will be reimbursed within 30 days. After customers have exceeded the complimentary access, the applicable lounge access fee (plus taxes) will be charged to their account.

If a cardholder is accompanied by a guest during lounge visits, an access charge of INR equivalent of USD 29 (plus applicable taxes) per guest will be levied to his account.

MasterCard/VISA Credit Card holders on accessing and successful the “Lounge key app” from Android/Apple store an authorization amount of USD 1 will be charged from the customer’s account for validation purpose only. The same is re-fundable and will be reimbursed to the customer’s account within 30 days. Kindly note the Lounge Key app is only available to MasterCard and VISA Credit card holders only.

  • Complimentary visits are applicable only for the primary card holders.
  • Features like Card, Domestic, International & ECOM needs to be turned ON for using the card in any International / Domestic lounge and for registering in Loungekey App. Customer can turn ON the facilities using the Fed Mobile application. After switching ON the facility customer will receive an SMS with the details.
  • NFC (Contactless) should be turned ON, if the customer is using the contactless authentication in lounge.
  • Card should have sufficient balance for authentication.
  • Complimentary lounge facility can also be availed during the layover period provided the gap between the two-lounge access should be 2 hrs.
  • Lounge Key access is pre-enabled in Celesta / Imperio cards. Customers visiting the lounges can intimate this to lounge manager.

Detailed Terms & Conditions

  1. Add-on cardholders will not receive complimentary lounge access. However, their spends done by the Add on card holder will be considered in meeting the spends criteria required for the primary cardholder to qualify for lounge benefits.
  2. Lounge access will be chargeable if the minimum spend is not met during the qualifying period.
  3. Unused lounge access will not be carried forward to subsequent quarters.
  4. The Bank reserves the right to modify, withdraw or revise the lounge access program at its sole and absolute discretion.
  5. Cash transactions done using the Card (which includes ATM cash withdrawals) will not be considered as valid spend to qualify for lounge access benefits.
  6. Only those transactions that are settled/billed within the applicable quarterly spend cycle will be considered for lounge access eligibility. For example, if the quarterly spend cycle is from 21st- June to 20th September, and a transaction is performed on 19th September but billed/settled only on 21st September, then that spend will not be considered for the relevant quarterly spend cycle. Such transaction will be accounted only for the subsequent quarterly spend cycle (i.e. October to December) for fixing eligibility for the lounge access benefits”.
  7. Example- Imperio Primary Cardholder will have to spend INR 40,000 or more in a quarter (21st Mar - 20th Jun 21st Jun - 20th Sep 21st Sep-20th Dec 21st Dec-20th Mar), to automatically qualify for 2 complimentary domestic lounge access in the subsequent quarter (1st Jul-30th Sep 1st Oct-31st Dec 1st Jan- 31st Mar 1st Apr-30th Jun).
  8. In case you utilize the complimentary lounge access, you can still visit the lounge by paying the fee.
  9. This change is applicable only for accessing Domestic Lounges (in India).
  10. The Program is available till 31st March 2026. (extendable upon Bank’s discretion)
  11. To access the Participating Airport Lounge, customer’s Card must be validated at point of entry by swiping the Card and the customer will be denied the complimentary entry if the Card authentication fails upon this swipe. Eligible Card along with boarding pass must be presented at the participating lounge.
  12. The Airport Lounge Program is eligible for selected Federal Bank Debit and Credit Card holders only. The validity of the program is as per the Bank’s internal decision and the same can be modified/revoked/cancelled anytime as per the Bank’s discretion.
  13. Eligible Cardholders will be allowed access to all Participating Airport Lounges under the Program, based on one of the following entry types: Entry Type 1-Free entry for Eligible Cardholder and guests only, (subject to a nominal swipe fee as applicable and Eligible Cards must be validated at point of entry by swiping a transaction of a nominal Rs 2 for domestic airport lounge visit whereas in case of international lounge access customers will be charged as per lounge charges and the same will be reimbursed within 30 days Other access restrictions apply, as mentioned below. Entry Type 2- Paid entry for the Eligible Cardholder and guests according to the respective prices of usage displayed at the Participating Airport Lounges, for himself/herself only or for his/her accompanying guests (payment will be made directly at the Participating Airport Lounge by the Eligible Cardholder).
  14. Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraphs, Entry Type 1 may be restricted or unavailable: If the Bank withdraws either the program or in relation to any Eligible Cardholder or at any Participating Airport Lounge for any reason at its sole and absolute discretion; or
  15. If the maximum capacity for Cardholders or an Eligible Card type or an Eligible Card type issued by a particular Issuer Bank has been reached at the relevant Participating Airport Lounge. In this regard it is to be noted that capacity limits at a Participating Airport Lounge may be different for different Eligible Card types or Eligible Card types issued by different Issuer Banks, Bank shall not be held responsible under any circumstances for any such unavailability.
  16. Bank makes no guarantee that any privileges, benefits, or facilities under the Program or otherwise will be made available by the Participating Airport Lounge to an Eligible Cardholder, and bank cannot be held liable for the same. Specifically, the free lounge access to customer(s) or guests may be suspended if the validation system at the Participating Airport Lounge is unable to swipe and authorize the customers’ Card due to any system malfunction or connectivity issues.
  17. Federal Bank shall not be held responsible if the airport lounge is not functioning or the customer lounge access is denied due to any operational malfunction or security issue, or any other issues raised at the airport/lounges.
  18. Customers should visit the list of eligible lounges at the Federal Bank website before accessing the complimentary lounge access at the airport during their visit.
  19. Usage of the Participating Airport Lounges under the Program is subject to access limits/quota every quarter which is determined by the bank in its absolute discretion and any attempted usage beyond such access limits/quota will be rejected by the Participating Airport Lounge.
  20. All the excess airport lounge visits apart from the quota/limits provided by the bank will be on a paid basis. All accompanying children/guests will be subject to the full Guest fees unless otherwise stated.
  21. Facilities generally available at the Participating Airport Lounges (subject to change at any time without prior notice) as specified below:

    • Tea / coffee
    • Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks
    • Other Privileges
    • Others privileges available are:
    • Luxurious seating area

    • Newspaper / magazines
    • Free Wi-Fi available at select locations. (Cardholder needs to check at the reception desk)
    • Fax, Shower, Internet, and Wi-Fi charges (wherever applicable) are at the discretion of each lounge operator and the cardholder is responsible for paying these direct to the lounge staff. Please note that additional charges may occur for meal/food/drink items not mentioned in the F&B privileges above as well as for services like Nap, Massage Service and Spa.
  22. Eligible Cardholders will be charged on their Eligible Card based on the amount stated on the charge-slip presented by the Participating Airport Lounge operator. Whilst it is the responsibility of the Participating Airport Lounge staff to ensure a valid charge-slip is processed and printed by swiping the Eligible card, the Eligible Cardholder is responsible for ensuring, before using the lounge facilities, that the charge-slip correctly reflects the applicable usage charges for his entry and that of his/her companion (if applicable). The Eligible Cardholder must retain the 'Cardholder's' copy of the charge-slip for verification purposes, and no allegations of error in charges will be entertained without the charge-slip verification.
  23. All usage of the Participating Airport Lounges under the Program is conditional upon presentation of a valid Eligible Card, and Federal bank, in its sole and absolute discretion, may alter, cancel, or amend eligibility of any card, or Program benefits, at any time without prior notice.
    The privileges under this Program are to be construed as a standalone offer and cannot be clubbed together and/or in any way be combined with any other offer of the Participating Airport Lounge in any manner, or form. For the avoidance of doubt, privileges under the Program cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  24. All Participating Airport Lounges are not owned or operated by Federal Bank, but by third-party organizations. Eligible Cardholders and relevant accompanying Guests must abide by the rules and policies of each respective Participating Airport Lounge, which include, without limitation.
  25. Access will be denied to the lounge when there are space constraints or if the maximum capacity for Federal bank Debit/Credit Cardholders has been reached or if the maximum capacity for the eligible Card type issued by a particular Issuer Bank has been reached at the relevant Participating Airport Lounge. Admittance subject to users and their Guests (including children) behaving and dressing in an orderly and correct manner. Any infants or children causing problems for other users' comfort may be asked to vacate the lounge facilities.
  26. Eligible Cardholders agree and acknowledge that they may be refused entry and/or asked to vacate for non-compliance with the rules and policies and, for the avoidance of doubt, will not make any complaints against, or hold Federal Bank responsible.
  27. For the avoidance of doubt, Bank makes no guarantee that any privileges, benefits, or facilities under the Program or otherwise will be made available by the Participating Airport Lounge to an Eligible Cardholder and bank will not be liable in any circumstances whatsoever in relation to the provision or non-provision (whether in whole or in part) of any of the advertised benefits and facilities under the Program.
  28. Participating Airport Lounges may reserve the right to enforce a maximum stay policy (usually 2 or 3 hours) to prevent overcrowding. This is at the discretion of the individual lounge operator who may impose a charge for extended stays.
  29. Participating Airport Lounges have no contractual obligation to announce flights, nor to remind Guests of their flight boarding times, and Eligible Cardholders are solely responsible for abiding by boarding times stated on their flight tickets. Accordingly, for the avoidance of doubt, bank shall not be liable under any circumstances in relation to any failure to board flights (for any reason) by an Eligible Cardholder.
  30. Eligible Cardholders should make prior enquiries before ordering any separate services/privileges or meal/food items apart from the general free services/privileges or meal/food items offered and will be responsible for paying any charges for additional consumption directly to the Participating Airport Lounge.
  31. Bank shall not be held responsible under any circumstances for any disputes that may occur in, or in relation to the usage of, a Participating Airport Lounge, including without limitation, between the Eligible Cardholder and another Guest, airport user, or Participating Airport Lounge operator staff/representatives.
  32. By participating in or using, or attempting to use, the Participating Airport Lounge under the Program, the Eligible Cardholder agrees to:
    • abide by the terms and conditions set out herein and
    • to defend and indemnify bank for any loss or damage caused to, or injury to or death of any person or damage to or destruction of any property arising out of the use of any Participating Airport Lounge by the Eligible Cardholder and/or his/her accompanying Guests.
  33. All disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals in Mumbai only, irrespective of whether courts/tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.

Example: A Signet primary credit cardholder is spending Rs. 20000/- in between 21st Jun to 20th Sep, the customer will be eligible for 1 complimentary domestic lounge access in the next quarter i.e 1st Oct to 31st Dec.

Yes, the spends done via Add on holder and Primary Credit Card will be considered as cumulative spends for availing the lounge benefit in next quarter. But the Add on cardholder will not be eligible for accessing Lounge Benefit.

Example- If a Signet customer is spending (21st Jun to 20th Sep) Rs. 5000 in Primary credit card and 15000 in Add on cardholder in a quarter, then the primary cardholder will only be eligible for 1 domestic lounge access in next quarter (1st oct- 31st Dec).
