The terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) mentioned herein are applicable to the usage of the Branch Appointment Manager Platform (“Facility”) of the Federal Bank Limited (“Bank”) and required to be agreed to and accepted by the User before availing the Facility. The Terms and Conditions, specified below and as amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the Bank, shall govern and constitute the arrangement between the User and the Bank in relation to the Facility.
By downloading/installing/accessing through web and using the Facility, the User shall be deemed to have expressly read, understood and accepted each and every Terms and Conditions mentioned herein. The User agrees to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions mentioned herein, as may be amended from time to time, at the sole discretion of the Bank.
For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, “User” means any person (including existing or proposed Customers of the Bank) who uses the Facility for booking appointment with any of the branches/offices of the Bank.
Branch Appointment Manager Platform is an appointment booking facility provided by the Bank to persons (including existing or proposed Customers of the Bank) who propose to visit any of the branches/offices of the Bank, in the ordinary course of business. By using the Facility, the User will be able to book appointment with any of the branches/offices of the Bank, thereby enabling the Bank to avoid over-crowding at the branches/offices of the Bank and provide enhanced customer service.
In order to use the Facility, the User will provide to the Bank, his/her name and mobile number for authentication purposes. The User may also provide his e-mail id to the Bank for communication purposes. The User hereby accords consent to the Bank to store the User’s name, e-mail id as well as mobile number provided while accessing the Facility, as well as to share the same with marketing agent/s and/or contractors with whom the Bank enters, or has entered into any arrangement, in connection with providing of services/products, including without limitation, cross selling of various financial products.
THE FACILITY IS PROVIDED BY THE BANK ON A BEST EFFORTS BASIS AND THE BANK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT FACILITY SHALL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE OR THAT USER WILL BE CATERED TO AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BANK DISCLAIMS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO THE FACILITY PROVIDED TO THE USER. NOTHING CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL PREVENT THE USER OR ANY PERSON IN VISTING ANY OF THE BRANCHES/OFFICES OF THE BANK IN THE ORDINARY COURSE OF BUSINESS WITHOUT BOOKING APPOINTMENT USING THE FACILITY. THE BANK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY APPOINTMENT AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION AND IN THAT EVENT, THE BANK SHALL TAKE REASONABLE EFFORTS TO COMMUNICATE CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT TO THE CUSTOMER VIA SMS/EMAIL OR SUCH OTHER APPROPRIATE MODES.
The User also agrees that, the Bank may at its sole discretion discontinue the Facility without any prior notice.
