Share Transfer Process

The share transfer instruments, as and when received, are duly processed and shares in respect of valid share transfer instruments are transferred in the name of the transferee at fortnightly intervals. Of the total Equity shares of the Bank, 65% of the shares are held in dematerialised form and the balance 35% shares are held in physical form.

Dematerialisation of the Bank's Shares

The Bank has entered into agreements with National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL) - from 1998 onwards, and Central Depository Services Ltd. (CDSL) - from 1999 onwards, for having the Bank's shares traded in electronic (demat) form.
